Alex Earnshaw
Fourth Saturday of every month - 11:00 - 12:00
If you are into all styles and sub-styles of four to the floor dance music like acid, trance, techno, tech house, house and all mixes of each other, the London born Earnshaw is the man for the job. His performances are never the same experience, he plays by feeling and never feels to keep the energy with a style to fit every occasion. Earnshaw’s first love for dance music started nearly a decade ago in 2011 at the legendary Ministry of Sound club London. He knew from that first ever rave that he wanted to DJ and has spent most his time practicing his DJing skills to perfect his performances. It is safe to say that Earnshaw knows how to mix two tracks seamlessly, not only that but has made full use of hot cues, loops and vocal edits to keep his shows vibrant with his mixes creating his own build ups and drops at any given time. As was said earlier it is all about feeling! Most recently Earnshaw has joined the AAJA Family (BIGUPS) and now has two radio slots each month. The first original show is two hours long which gives Earnshaw plenty of time to really express himself musically, while also often sharing the time with other talented DJs for a guest mix. The second show is an hour slot in the morning for the more mellow vibes of dance music, the perfect pick-me-up to a Tuesday morning. If you want to know where Earnshaw got his eclectic taste of dance music from and where he gets his style from, there are three places for solid dance music that Earnshaw has visited frequently in the past decade. London (of course), Glasgow and wait for it... you guessed it IBIZA!
